We bunked up in our rooms for the night and slept wonderfully like three chipmunks.... This morning after our scrumptious breakfast tee hopped on the "free" bus( we love the free bus thing), and went to the town of Crested Butte.

In Crested Butte they were having an art festival. The Main Street was lined with beautiful art from all over the states Including a few from Hawaii!!
As we walked by one of the Hawaii booths, a local Braddah said " howzit"...it was a no brainier to see how he knew we were from Hawaii... Pippy was sporting her pareo with a bright red top that had the words Hawaii on it.
There was a farmers market that we walked through.. Naturally we wanted to buy everything!! The vibrant colors of the veggies are just as colorful as the wild flowers.

We read a big sign: NO dogs allowed at the art festival..but this family did not seem to be concerned about rules, and neither did anyone else.
Let's just have more food to eat... The line for the homemade ice cream was out the door so we knew it had to be good. Piggy wiggys.
Our final whimsical part of our day was shopping at Safeway for MORE food..Hobbit to the rescue with his mary poppins specialized single speed bike.. It's a girls bike you know... Hellooooo.
Nighty night peeps .. The adventure continues tomorrow. Hitching back to the trail in the morning.🐰
